Roles and permissions explained

Intellivizz CRM uses a two-tier role system (Admin / User) plus granular module-level permissions. The role determines what a person can do account-wide; the permissions determine which modules they can access at all.

The two roles

Role Account-wide access Best for
Admin Full — billing, integrations, users, all modules, all settings Owner, co-founders, operations leads
User Module-level only — cannot change billing, integrations, or other users Sales reps, customer service, marketing assistants, bookkeepers

Module-level permissions (User role)

For users with the User role, you can grant access to any combination of these modules:

  • Dashboard

  • Conversations

  • Contacts

  • Calendars

  • Opportunities & Pipelines

  • Funnels & Websites

  • Email Marketing

  • Workflows

  • Reputation Management

  • Reporting

  • Payments

  • Memberships

Recommended permission templates

WARNING — Be conservative with Admin

Every Admin can change billing, invite other Admins, modify integrations, and delete data. Limit Admins to people who legitimately need that authority. If you have 10 employees, you should have 1–3 Admins, not 10.

Calendar and pipeline assignment

Even with module access granted, you can scope a user to specific calendars or pipelines so they only see assignments relevant to them.

  • On the user's permission screen, scroll to "Calendar Assignment" and "Pipeline Assignment"

  • Toggle on the specific calendars/pipelines they should access

  • If left unassigned, they see all calendars/pipelines in the account
