Brand and Campaign Registration step-by-step

Before you start

  • Your Business Profile (Settings → Company) must be 100% filled in: legal name, EIN, address, website, etc.

  • Your business name must match your IRS records and Secretary of State filing exactly

  • You must have a working website with a privacy policy

  • Your privacy policy must mention SMS opt-in language (e.g., "by submitting this form, you consent to receive SMS")

Step 1: Submit Brand Registration

  • Settings → Phone Numbers → A2P 10DLC → "Register Brand"

  • Confirm legal business name (must match IRS records)

  • Confirm EIN

  • Confirm physical address

  • Submit for verification ($4 fee)

  • TCR runs identity verification — typically 1–3 business days

  • Approval status appears in your dashboard

Step 2: Submit Campaign Registration

  • Once Brand is approved, click "Register Campaign"

  • Choose use case (most common: Mixed, which covers marketing + customer-care + appointment reminders)

  • Provide a description of how you'll text customers

  • Provide 2 sample messages — these must be real, accurate examples (not placeholders)

  • Confirm opt-in method: form on website, paper signup, verbal at point of sale, etc.

  • Confirm opt-out language is in your messages

  • Submit ($10/month fee)

  • Wait for approval (1–10 business days)

Marketing/promotional sample

  • "Hi , save 20% on services this week at [Your Business]. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help."

Appointment reminder sample

  • "Hi , reminder of your appointment tomorrow at 2 PM with [Your Business]. Reply C to confirm or R to reschedule. Reply STOP to opt out."

Customer service sample

  • "Hi , this is [Name] from [Your Business]. We received your inquiry and will respond within 1 business day. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."

NOTE — Why opt-out language matters

Every sample message you submit MUST include the phrase "Reply STOP to opt out" or equivalent. Carriers reject submissions without it. Your real messages must also include this language at least periodically.
