Email templates: design and reusability

Templates save you from rebuilding the same email layout every week. Build once, save, then duplicate and tweak content for each campaign.

Create a template

  1. Marketing → Email → Templates → "+ New Template"

  2. Choose: pre-built theme, blank canvas, or import HTML

  3. Build the layout: header (logo + nav), body sections, footer (legal + unsubscribe)

  4. Save — it's now available when creating new campaigns

Template structure that works across providers

  • Single-column layout for mobile reliability — multi-column emails break on phones

  • Inline CSS only (Intellivizz handles this automatically) — external stylesheets are stripped by Gmail and Outlook

  • Web-safe fonts (Arial, Georgia, Helvetica, Verdana) — custom fonts often don't render in Outlook

  • Image alt text on every image — many subscribers see images blocked by default

  • Clear, single primary CTA

Required footer elements

WARNING — Legally required in marketing emails

CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada), and GDPR (EU) all require: a physical mailing address, an obvious unsubscribe link, and a clear identification of the sender. Intellivizz CRM auto-injects these into every campaign footer using your business profile data — don't delete them.
