The Intellivizz CRM chat widget can be embedded on any website. Visitors can start conversations in real time; if no one's available, the conversation captures their contact info and routes to your inbox for follow-up.
Go to Sites → Chat Widget
Customize: avatar, welcome message, primary color, position (bottom-left or bottom-right)
Set behavior: pop-up (auto-opens after X seconds) vs. button-only (waits for click)
Configure pre-chat capture: name + phone or email required before chat starts
Set business hours — outside these hours, the widget shows "Leave a message" mode
Click "Get Embed Code" and paste it into your website's <head> or just before </body>

When you're notified of a chat (in-app, email, or LeadConnector push), open the conversation
If the AI bot is currently handling it, click "Take Over" to switch to human mode
The AI pauses; your replies go directly to the customer
Click "Return to Bot" if the customer no longer needs human help
TIP — Capture before you converse
Always require name + phone OR email before the chat starts. "Anonymous chat visitor" is useless if they ghost you mid-conversation. With contact info captured first, you have a real lead in your CRM and can follow up regardless of what happens in chat.
