WhatsApp Business is essential for international customers (especially Latin America, India, the Middle East, and Europe). Connecting it brings WhatsApp messages into your Intellivizz CRM inbox alongside SMS and other channels.

Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp
Click "Connect"
Sign in to your Meta Business account

WARNING — WhatsApp requires pre-approved templates for outbound
Unlike SMS, you can't send arbitrary outbound WhatsApp messages to customers who haven't messaged you in the last 24 hours. You must use pre-approved "templates" submitted to Meta — typically appointment reminders, order confirmations, shipping updates. Approval takes 1–2 business days. Once a customer replies, the 24-hour window opens for free-form messages.
Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp → Templates
Click "+ New Template"
Choose category: Marketing, Utility, or Authentication (utility is most common: reminders, confirmations)
Write the body with parameter placeholders ({1}, {2}, etc. — Meta uses positional, not named)
Submit for approval — status updates will appear in the same screen
WhatsApp messaging is billed by Meta separately, in addition to your Intellivizz wallet
Rates vary by recipient country and conversation type — check Meta's WhatsApp pricing page
Customer-initiated conversations (the customer messages you first) are free for the first 24 hours
