Build a custom report

If the standard reports don't show exactly what you need, build a custom report. The Custom Report Builder lets you pick a data source, filter rows, choose columns, and group/aggregate.

Available data sources

  • Contacts (any contact + their custom fields, tags, source)

  • Opportunities (deals across one or all pipelines)

  • Appointments (all calendars or a specific one)

  • Conversations (messages + threads)

  • Calls (all + AI voice agent calls)

  • Workflows (fired runs, errors)

  • Invoices and Payments

  • Form submissions

  • Reviews

How to build one

  1. Go to Reporting → Custom Reports → "+ New Report"

  2. Choose your data source from the list above

  3. Add filters: date range, status, tag, source, owner, etc. (each filter narrows the rows shown)

  4. Choose columns: drag fields you want from the available list to the report layout

  5. (Optional) Add group-by: "by source", "by user", "by month"

  6. (Optional) Add chart: bar, line, pie, or table-only

  7. Save and name the report

  8. Optionally schedule it to email weekly/monthly (see)

Example custom reports clients build

  • Revenue by lead source by month, last 12 months

  • Average response time by user, last 30 days

  • No-show rate by calendar, by day-of-week, last 90 days

  • Workflow error log, last 7 days, grouped by workflow

  • New contacts by tag, monthly trend

  • Pipeline conversion rate by stage, by sales rep
