These features make your course feel premium: members earn things as they progress, you can see who's completing what, and content unlocks at the right pace.
Immediate: all content available on enrollment (best for established members on lifetime-access tiers)
Sequential: next lesson unlocks only when previous is marked complete (high engagement, but rigid)
Time-based: Module 2 unlocks 7 days after enrollment, Module 3 at day 14, etc. (best balance for most courses)
Date-based: Module 2 unlocks on a specific calendar date (best for cohort-based courses)
Go to your Course → Settings → Drip Schedule
Choose your mode
If time-based: set the offset for each module (Module 1 at day 0, Module 2 at day 7, etc.)
If sequential: configure quiz pass requirements per module
Click Save
Go to Memberships → Certificates → "+ New Certificate"
Upload your certificate template (PNG or PDF)
Add merge fields: member name, course name, completion date, instructor signature
Set issuance trigger: course completion, final quiz pass, or final assignment submitted
Members get a download link + email with their certificate attached
TIP - Make certificates shareable
Add a "Share to LinkedIn" button on the certificate completion page. Members proudly posting your certificate is free marketing — every share is a soft endorsement to their professional network. Make it easy.
From the admin side, you can see:
Per-member: how far they've progressed, lessons completed, quiz scores, last login
Per-course: completion rate, average time to complete, drop-off points (which lesson loses the most members)
Cohort comparison: are members who joined in March outperforming members from May?
