Paid memberships require a connected payment processor (Stripe is recommended - see Payments & Invoicing. Once Stripe is connected, you can sell course access through one-time payments or subscriptions.
1. Go to Payments → Products → "+ New Product"
2. Set product type: Course (links to a course you've built) or Membership (links to a tier of access)
3. Set pricing: One-time, Recurring, or both
4. If recurring: choose monthly, quarterly, or annual
5. Add trial period if applicable (7-day free trial is common)
6. Set the price
7. Choose included tax handling (your jurisdiction may require collecting and remitting tax)
8. Click Save
1. Go to Funnels → "+ New Funnel"
2. Choose the "Course Sales" template (or build from scratch)
3. Customize the sales page — hero, video, testimonials, FAQ, pricing
4. Add a Checkout step that links to your Product (from previous step)"
5. Add an upsell or thank-you page after checkout
6. Publish the funnel and copy the URL
If you sell multiple tiers (e.g., Bronze/Silver/Gold), create one Product per tier and one Membership per tier. Each Membership tier has its own access rules - e.g., Bronze gets Modules 1–2 only, Silver gets 1–4, Gold gets everything plus the community.
Configure tier-to-content mapping in Memberships → Tiers
Members can upgrade between tiers — Stripe handles proration automatically
WARNING — Refund and cancellation policy
Decide and publish your refund and cancellation terms BEFORE you start selling. Common policies: 14-day money-back guarantee for one-time purchases, cancel-anytime for subscriptions (no prorated refund). Make this visible on the checkout page — lack of clarity drives chargebacks, which damage your Stripe account.
