Changing your password and enabling 2FA

Your Intellivizz CRM account contains customer data, payment information, and live communication channels.

Change your password

1.    Click your avatar → "My Profile"

2.   Scroll to the "Change Password" section

3.   Enter your current password, then your new password (12+ characters, mixed case, numbers, and at least one symbol)

4.   Click "Update Password" — you'll stay logged in, but other devices will be signed out

Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)

2FA adds a one-time code (from an authenticator app or SMS) on top of your password. We strongly recommend it for every user, especially Admins.

1.    Go to My Profile → Security

2.   Click "Enable 2FA"

3.   Choose Authenticator App (recommended) or SMS

4.   If using an authenticator app: scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password

5.   Enter the 6-digit code shown in the app to confirm

6.   Save your backup codes in a password manager — you'll need one if you lose your phone

WARNING — Authenticator app vs. SMS

SMS-based 2FA is better than nothing, but vulnerable to SIM-swap attacks. Use an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, Microsoft Authenticator) wherever possible.

If you're locked out

  • Click "Forgot Password" on the login screen — a reset link will be sent to your email

  • If you've lost access to your 2FA device AND your backup codes, contact [email protected] — identity verification will be required to unlock your account

  • Repeated failed logins lock the account for 15 minutes; this is by design
