Time zones, business hours, and holidays

Time-related settings determine when scheduled messages fire, when AI agents answer calls, when calendars accept bookings, and how dates are displayed across the platform.

Set your account time zone

41.    Settings → Company → General

42.    Set Time Zone to the zone where your business operates (e.g., America/New_York)

43.    Click Save

WARNING — Time zone changes affect everything

Changing your account time zone shifts every scheduled workflow, every queued email, and every booked appointment. Only change it if your business actually moves. If you operate in multiple time zones, contact support — don't try to handle it with a global setting.

Set business hours

Business hours control when your AI voice agent says "we're open" vs. "we're closed," when chat widgets show as available, and when calendars accept urgent same-day bookings.

44.    Settings → Company → Business Hours

45.    Set open/close times for each day of the week

46.    Mark days closed entirely (e.g., Sundays for many service businesses)

47.    Click Save

Set holidays

48.    Settings → Company → Holidays

49.    Click "+ Add Holiday"

50.    Enter the name (e.g., Thanksgiving) and the date

51.    Mark as recurring annually if applicable

52.    Specify behavior: closed all day, modified hours, or remote/limited

Per-user time zones

Individual users can set their own time zone in My Profile if they work remotely from a different zone than the business. This affects only their own UI display — not when scheduled actions fire.
