Notifications: setup & troubleshooting

Why notifications are critical

If notifications aren't working, you'll miss inbound leads. The LeadConnector app is your primary channel for knowing a new customer just messaged or called — if push doesn't fire, the lead goes cold.

Recommended notification settings

Configure notifications in the app

  1. Tap your profile icon (top left)

  2. Settings → Notifications

  3. Toggle each event type to your preference

  4. Save

If notifications stop working

Symptom Fix
No notifications at all Check phone Settings → LeadConnector → Notifications is enabled at OS level
Delayed notifications Disable battery optimization for LeadConnector (Android) / Low Power Mode (iOS)
Notifications come, no sound Check Do Not Disturb is off; check sound is enabled per event in app
Stop after a few hours Background App Refresh disabled — enable in OS settings
After OS update Sign out and back in to re-register the device push token

WARNING — iOS Focus Modes

iOS Focus Modes (Work, Personal, Sleep, etc.) silently filter app notifications. If you've recently set up a Focus Mode, add LeadConnector to the "Allowed Apps" list, or you'll miss alerts during Focus periods.
